I’ve been having a lot of fun over the last couple of months making engagement rings for happy couples! And in the process, I’ve been updating my website to feature some new styles, including this gorgeous new 6-prong version of my Grace solitaire. We made this stunning new Grace for the loveliest couple, who had this to say upon receiving the ring:
Him: “I am overwhelmingly happy to tell you that your magnificent ring is on my fiancée’s hand, and we are the two happiest people on the planet.”
Her: “This ring is absolutely stunning. I can’t stop looking at my hand. It is my most prized possession and will be always. Thank you for sharing your talent with us, and contributing to our joy.”
Swoon! Congratulations to you both!!
This new 6-prong Grace is a lovely version of my original 8-prong style. The 6-prong features the same gorgeous petals and swags that lead up to meticulously sculpted prongs. The original has diamonds set into the petals, but for this style we opened up the soft curved shapes to create a gorgeous open and airy framework.
In keeping with the original Grace style, this 6-prong features my signature brushed finish on the shank and gallery with delicate milgrain detail. The ring’s band is simple, as it reflects the soft negative space that distinguishes all of my designs. I love a balance of elements, and both this new Grace and the original juxtapose a diamond’s sparkle with the simplicity of finely finished metal.
We made this 6-prong Grace in 18k white gold. You’ll notice that the metal has a warm hue, as our 18k white gold is not plated with rhodium like most white gold rings in the marketplace. We don’t rhodium plate, as the warm-white metal color is wonderful as is.
The Grace solitaires both work well with my wedding band styles. The Grace’s band is very simple, so my wedding bands provide lovely contrast and sparkle. The band shown below is my Viola style in 18k yellow gold. I love them together!
